UStart program fosters startup skills, mindset for students of color

The UStart program, a six-day intensive residency launched by the University of Miami Patti and Allan Herbert Business School and with participation from personnel across the University, aims to empower more college students of color to pursue entrepreneurial careers that might ultimately support their communities. EllenMarie McPhillip, associate dean of programs in the School of Education and Human Development, David Major, associate professor of professional practice in Global Business Strategy and academic director of UStart@MiamiHerbert Entrepreneurship Immersion Program, discuss the program.
